Who We Are
LifeSkills Connection Inc. is a family- and veteran-owned organization committed to creating meaningful change for individuals and organizations. Backed by over 30 years of leadership experience, we manage Job Corps contracts nationwide in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor and Forest Service.
In addition to our workforce development work in Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri, we operate the Healing Heart Center and Holistic Health in Iowa—offering counseling, therapy, and coaching services that support personal well-being and growth.

LifeSkills is part of a family of companies that includes Options Ink, a full-service marketing and print agency, and Q4 Solutions, a leadership development and consulting firm.

The LifeSkills Connection corporate office is located in Manning, IA. We currently operate Job Corps contracts in the following locations:

The Healing Hearts Center is located in Bettendorf, IA and Holistic Health is located in Manning, IA. We also operate Options Ink in Carroll, IA.
In July 2024, LifeSkills Connection was awarded WIOA youth funds to support the Connect Program. The Connect Program supports young adults across 17 counties in Northeast Kansas as they begin their career pathway.
LifeSkills Connection also serves as the Iowa Plains Workforce Development Board One Stop Operator and the St. Charles County Workforce Development Board One Stop Operator.
In April 2025, LifeSkills Connection, Inc., formed a subsidiary company, Human Capital. Human Capital helps companies improve their most important resource--people. Our team works with companies to ensure they have the right people in the right position by assisting them with selection, development, and retention within their organization. Human Capital acquired Psychological Associates in April of 2025. Psychological Associates has a long history of quality and proven leadership development programs and materials to add value to organizations. LifeSkills sees the work Psychological Associates does with companies as a pathway to select, develop and retain employees strengthening a businesses’ human capital. Moving forward, Psychological Associates will be known as Q4 Solutions. The team at Q4 Solutions can help businesses of any size strengthen the skills of their team.
Job Corps
Job Corps is the nation’s largest free, residential career training and education program for low-income young adults ages 16 through 24.
Holistic Health
A holistic healing center located right in Manning, IA . Our center has been carefully designed to provide a multitude of holistic approaches to wellness and self-care. As soon as you walk in our doors we hope you are entranced by our peaceful atmosphere and can take a break from the busy world to focus on you.
Kansas Connect
Our team connects young adults, aged 14-24, with FREE education and training programs, industry-recognized credentials, paid work experiences, and support services to become self-sufficient in 17 Kansas counties.
Healing Hearts Center
Located in Bettendorf, IA, the skilled and licensed practitioners at The Healing Heart Center provide a host of counseling, therapeutic, and coaching services, including Massage Therapy, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Halotherapy, Thai Body Massage, Chiropractic, Personal Yoga, Guided Meditation, Crystal Healing, Reiki, Amethyst Infrared BioMat, Acupuncture, Bio Acoustic Mat, Individual and Family Counseling, Divorce Mediation, Life Coaching, and Business Coaching.
