Shauna Reitan, Holistic Health Manager

Shauna’s journey as an employee at LifeSkills Connection started out two years ago. Initially, she joined us during a 6-week internship with us at The Healing Heart Center. From there Shauna accepted a position as an Executive Assistant for the corporate office, the following year accepted a position as a Corporate Support Specialist and is now the Holistic Health Supervisor. Shauna provides oversite of The Healing Heart Center as well as The Manning Wellness Center.  Shauna received her BA in Psychology from Graceland University and is also a Certified Life Coach and Disaster Recovery Coach, also services she provides at LifeSkills. Shauna's education, experience, and passion for the Mental Health Field and Holistic Healing Field have guided her into her role as Executive Wellness Coordinator, making her an extremely vital asset to our team.

Samantha Burkhalter, Executive Coordinator

Samantha’s upbeat, hardworking, caring attitude makes her an amazing Executive Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with Major in Women’s Studies and Leadership. She began working for LifeSkills as the OA/CTS corporate support staff in 2017, in which she worked directly with the OA and CTS staff, to ensure the implementation of innovative strategies to attain 100% OBS and promote placement upon completion. Samantha then naturally fell into her role as Executive Coordinator, where she oversees our Business Development Coordination. Her ability to manage, inspire, and organize place her perfectly into her role as Executive Coordinator.

Sheila Reitan, Owner

Sheila serves as the Vice President of LifeSkills Connection Incorporated and additionally as the Executive Director of The Healing Heart Center and Holistic Health. She coordinates the operational functions of the organization, oversees human relation activities, and maintains client relations. Mrs. Reitan has over 20 years’ experience in office management, payroll, and human resource activities. She additionally has over 15 years of experience working in Job Corps serving in various positions and roles throughout Social Development, Social Skill Training, Student Government and on-center consulting. Mrs. Reitan oversees the Employee Assistance / Wellness programs and all holistic services provided by LifeSkills Connection at our various locations.
